Anyone is welcomed to join this event. It's free-of-charge but seats are limited to the first 30 people, on a first-come-first-serve basis.

About the Talk
An accomplished adventurer, Stefen summitted Mount Everest, becoming one of the rare individuals to climb and photograph the mountain.
Having traveled in more than 30 countries, he believes in the Chinese saying, ‘读万卷书不如行万里路’,which translates as ‘walking ten thousand miles is superior to reading ten thousand books’.
Stefen approaches his subjects with curiosity and sensitivity, and provide an in depth look into their lives and their context with their environment and history.
In his talk, Stefen will talk about the works that excite him, and crafting your voice through your own perspective and imagery.

More about Stefen Chow
Stefen's love for photography started in a way unlike any other - while conquering the peak of Mount Everest!

Since then, through his camera and eye, Stefen has explored the stories of ancient yet changing city of Beijing, the streets of New York, the hidden world of Hasidic Jews and many more.

Stefen Chow is grateful to be a witness through his camera. Stefen has been awarded in PDN, Lucies and was nominated for the PDN 30 and World Press Photo Masterclass. Stefen has worked with organizations including Wall Street Journal, Geo, Time, Cartier, Keppel, Shell and Nikon. He was a speaker at TEDxBeijing 2009, the first time the acclaimed TED talks was held in Beijing.

Nikon recently named him the Singapore Nikon Professional from 2009 to 2012. Stefen has worked with the world's biggest media organizations such as Associated Press, Bloomberg News, the Wall Street Journal, China Foto Press, Asian Geographic magazine, Singapore Press Holdings, Keppel Corporation and Shell International.

Stefen has lived in New York City, different parts of Asia and currently works and lives in Beijing and Singapore.
